Mt. Pulag

The majestic Mt. Pulag.

Climbing this mountain inspired me to write about my adventures.

It was life changing. I see myself as tiny dot in a world full of limitless possibilities.

THE PATH

Trekking the different paths of this majestic mountain (mossy forest, grasslands, dirt and dusty rough roads) has been a food to the soul. It nourishes your inner self to be at peace with mother earth. It connects your life force to the great circle of life. It opens the pores of your spiritual self and absorb the air that is God’s love. Sounds cheesy but that’s how it felt. I’m serious 😐

THE PEOPLE

Warm greetings of hi’s and hello’s. Wishing people luck and take cares are some of the things you will encounter climbing. You’re lucky if you get some advice and stories from strangers you meet. Some life lessons and some great tips!

You will see and feel what a wonderful world (ha ha did you sing the song?)

THE COLD

Perhaps the coldest temperature I have experienced. And the kind of cold you that you will miss every now and then!

THE ADVENTURE

Rough roads you trek.

Rough winds you endure.

Vertical drop of rains you encounter.

Long lines of head lights and lamps, a sight to see, you will treasure

Summit assault, the climb where you want to be

Deep breaths you take

Great leaps you must make

All along, this is an amazing adventure you will remember!

  1. Hey! Those two pictures (3rd and 4th) are so interesting! They remind me of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince. (and they make me a bit inggit :P) However did you do them!? Anyway, here’s to more adventures, Mr. Danventure. And have fun!
